you can either say it;s ture or not. Since the destination plate on the AP is displaying 680 Lee On....but it has no passenger on it, just a few driver or technical staff sit near the driver seat. I think the bus is under testing on that route.

沿途都冇人上車,


架車去到青朗公路竟然去到95km/h,AM可有如此威力!

之後去到天慈,食完早餐,係天水圍行左陣,行到8:00係天耀搭64M


出荃灣跳舞,點知架車半粒鐘己到荃鐵,間野9:30先開


點知俾我見到架AL1行238M,遊左一轉(冇晒菲林冇影到)


返到荃鐵都係九點三,咁就去左荃灣中央post文


到九點半就去跳舞,跳到隻鞋差D爛:p





PS,如果大家想試下包車行大運,就襯N269冇乜人識,快D去坐下啦!

當年我都住響梨木樹, 但係o個時好細個, 印象好模糊


淨係記得同全程車費一樣, 收$2.60


泊在36M坑的隔離(即336條坑, 不過依家整緊路, 有D改動)


當年36B係泊響出面, 36A就響商場底, 36隔離


唔知係咪因為36A要轉12米先至將總站對調呢?


估唔到過左咁多年, 36A轉左咁多車, 到今天仍用回12米車...

New Perth Bus Unveiled(By Rattler/Colin Davison)





The first bus to be delivered to Transperth for some five


years was shipped from Melbourne on 8 January 1999. This is


the first Volgren-bodied Mercedes-Benz O405NH of 848 to be


built under a 12 year contract. Deliveries will begin in


earnest in April.





The public unveiling of the first of Transperth's new fully


airconditioned, low-floor buses was performed by the WA


Transport Minister at a ceremony in Murray Street Mall on


25 January 1999. The bus remained there on display for most


of that day and the following day, a public holiday when


thousands of Perth residents streamed into the CBD for the


Australia Day fireworks. Demonstration running on the free


Red CAT route occupied the next two days. About half of the


initial batch of 133 buses, most of them due to be delivered


by the end of 1999, will be built at Volgren's Melbourne


works, with the remainder being assembled at a new WA plant


being established in Malaga, an industrial suburb roughly


10km north of Perth.





Fleet numbers of the new arrivals will commence at 1140


(TP1140). The buses are 12.3metres long on a 6.35m wheelbase,


2.5m wide and with an overall height of 3.138m. They have


'kneeling' suspension which allows the floor height to be


lowered from its normal 345mm to 275mm when required at stops.


Seating for 41 passengers includes a number of tip-up seats


in the vicinity of the wheelchair spaces, which are located


just behind the front wheel arches. A revised livery of


silver with green band between the waist and skirt is


featured, although it is apparently not proposed that this


will be applied to any of the existing fleet.





The first route to receive the new buses will be the Circle


Route with an allocation of 30. Operation of the full Circle


Route is to be shared between all four of the Transperth bus


operating companies, each of which will have the allocation


of the new buses. Approximately 15 are to be assigned to a


new Rockingham - Fremantle high frequency, high quality


service due to be introduced in the second half of 1999.





The last new buses ordered by Transperth were the 16 DAB


Midicity O860s-022s delivered in mid-1996 specifically for


the CAT services, although two Dennis Darts subsequently


ordered by PATH Transit have been registered in Transperth's


'TP' series.
