仲有多一個例子.昨日下午我用八仔咭乘新巴112,今天我

類似的經歷,我都曾經在香港遇過一次。


記得在九二年某個早上,當我登上一部行走40號線的S3N時,發覺到


樓上還有一個窗口位。於是我就走去坐下。


誰知原來身旁那塊玻璃,竟然不翼而飛﹗


最慘的是,那日是五月八日﹗當時香港正下狂風暴雨……

Also, TD said that Railways Transportation will be the dominant form of travelling in the future and tnerefore refusing a lot of important bus routes for the time being. Well, do u think the coverage by railway network is enough? NO WAY! Anyway, we have our own choice of travelling, and we often find buses more comfortable than trains. It's also more convenient to your destination and seats often available. So for the time being, some banned routes should be allowed to operate, at least for the moment, for our benefit. If TD really wanna help Railways operation, then close the routes when railway coverage is very good.


DB (district boards):


DB often rerfuse the closure of some routes or even some slight adjustment in frequency of the service. Well, of course they sometimes are reasonable. But sometimes the bus companies have to waste their resources on less demanding routes and therefore unable to free some vehicles to increasingly demanding routes / still running useless routes when they can actually open new routes which will be more efficient and profiting.


So, what do u think?

QUITE FED UP WITH THE BUS SERVICES NOWADAYS...

Of course not! Though I thought the restriction on number of


vehicles in fleets had been lifted quite a while ago.


Of course I don't like the railway protection policy. Although


I'm not sure if it was TD's policy towards KMB to compete with


railways, or KMB simply just isn't agressive enough to try


to draw passengers away from trains. (i.e., if KMB offers more


comfortable A/C service on 'plain' 70, instead of making passengers


to wait for 154 minutes)


That depends, i.e., if my district board fought for 100, it


wouldn't be cancelled! :(





DB's did something pretty good recently though, such as full


day service of 8P/788, A43, extension of A12, etc...


Fed up? Try bus service in San Francisco! Even at 10 minutes


on average on most routes, service isn't that good. (buses


sure are old!)





I think you should be fed up with TD's policies instead.

清潔工人: 做埋今晚就冇得行囉...


司機: 仲有兩轉, 好快O者. 咁就手查左咁耐囉.


清潔工人: 知唔知聽日會點?


司機: 有乜點呀? 都冇乜所謂囉.


清潔工人: 唔係轉去行 720 呀?


司機: 我都未知架. 有線咪照行囉, 冇線咪早D抖下


清潔工人: 乜你地唔捨得咩?


司機: 冇話唔捨得既, 要執(線)咪由佢囉.


清潔工人: 你地真係睇得開.....






見到司機們都睇得咁開, 我地都唔駛睇得咁悲既.


雖然 20 號伴左我好耐, 仲記得以前係晌三聯果邊做總站,


但係既然有新線可以取代到, 功成身良都係岩既..

Once there was a project that KMB will get a 2axle Optare A/C


Bus to HK in 1993/94(Sorry I forgot the exact date),


but that bus was sold to Turkey, then KMB did not order anymore/


(KMB always concern about 'face'---you can think why they do not


purchase anymore 3M (MCW Metrobus 12m) after 1-3. The reason is:


ML1 of CMB is the first 3-axle bus arrive HK. Will they purchase


buses that make them lose 'face'???)

唔實淨o既路面, 部車咁重, 唔會壓 ' 林 ' D沙咩?


(按: 我冇親眼見佢o地過沙堆, 只係見佢o地出現在小梅沙某酒店

另, 在大梅沙見到對面有1275番深圳.

sure was shaking badly, as the windows had cracking sounds

have more powerful engines designed for Mercedes O814D Vario?
